We will have another historic first following on from last year’s Mass in Notre Dame Cathedral as St Patrick’s Day Mass this year will be celebrated at 12:30 in the Basilique de Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre on Saturday, March 15, 2014.
This will be a joint Irish Chaplaincy Paris / Irish Embassy celebration. We have decided to avail of this rare opportunity having received permission from the Sacré Coeur authorities. Please note that this is a change from the previously communicated venue.
Everyone from the Irish Community, friends and visitors here for the Ireland / France rugby match that evening are welcome to celebrate St Patrick and Ireland’s National Day.
Give yourself enough time to arrive in Montmartre to get to Sacré Coeur so as to guarantee a seat. The nearest métro stations are Anvers and Abbesses.
Following the Mass there will be refreshments available in the Corcoran’s Pub on the steps of Sacré Coeur.
