The Holy Ghost Fathers based on Rue Lomond is the closest neighbor to the Irish Chaplaincy at the Collège des Irlandais and over the years they have provided us with tremendous support. We have a very strong mutual relationship with them.
They have invited members of our Irish Chaplaincy Community to join with them for their “Journées d’amitié spiritaine” on the weekend of June 7 – 9, 2013. It is a moment to step away from our busy lives and experience a tremendous spiritual retreat. It is also an opportunity to learn more about the work of the Holy Ghost Fathers and to show our support for the work that they do around the world.
A number of events are organized during the weekend:
Friday, June 7 at 20h30
Gospel Concert and witness statements
Saturday, June 8 between 14h00 and 19h00
Diverse stands where you can buy food, art, books and other products; plus animations and exhibitions to learn about the work of the Holy Ghost Fathers
Sunday, June 9 from 10h30 to 19h00
Includes Mass at 10h30, lunch from 12h00 (choice of two menus at €15), and an afternoon of stands, animations and exhibitions. There will be a special prize draw at 18h00 for various journeys and holidays in Guadeloupe, Portugal, Italy and in France
The weekend will take place at 30, rue Lhomond, 75005 Paris.
