Despite the very Irish weather, I hope that June in Paris is still warming your hearts, at least!
I write to remind everyone of the Confirmation ceremony that will take place here in the Chapelle Saint Patrick next Sunday, 24 June at 11h30. Everyone will be welcome and the Mass will be followed by our annual community picnic.
Bishop Noel Treanor of Down and Conor will be the celebrant for Mass and it will be his first official visit to the College. He acts as the bishop responsible for the Chaplaincy for the Irish Bishops’ Conference. It will be great to welcome him and to thank him for the work he has done for the Chaplaincy.
Those who will participate in the picnic are invited to bring something to share. Savoury is preferable as the sweets have been promised already! Thanks to those who have volunteered to help to set up the picnic and to help with the practical organization.
This will be a big day for the Chaplaincy. I hope to see many friends amongst us as we celebrate, pray and share together.
Thanks for your continued support and I look forward to seeing as many as possible on Sunday!
