Notices for February 7, 2012

Dear Friends

As the snow started to fall at about 9h30 on Sunday I wondered if anyone would brave the elements to join the celebration of St Brigid’s Day. Two hours later, when every seat was filled in the Chapel and many people were also standing, it seemed like a miracle!

I would like to thank everyone for his/her involvement in the prepartaion and celebration of the feast-day on Sunday. Thanks also to those who travelled quite some distance to join us. It was a beautiful celebration and some eighty homes and places of work in Paris are now adorned with St Brigid’s cross to bring hope and protection to all who cross the doorstep.

Thanks again to you all! We look forward to seeing many of you again on 18 March for our celebration of St Patrick’s Day in Saint Etienne du Mont, or any Sunday at our 11h30 Mass.

Best wishes!

Sean
